Home Health Aides, Personal Care Aides, and Homemakers, supervised by our registered nurse case management team, are available to assist clients with personal care, housekeeping and socialization. All Aides complete comprehensive NYS DOH approved training program.

Registered Nurses, Home Health Aides, Personal Care Aides and Homemakers are available through North Country Home Services. North Country Home Services’ Home Health Aides are certified by New York State Department of Health.

North Country Home Services’ Home Health Care Workers provide compassionate, paraprofessional care.

North Country Home Services’ Home Health Care Workers receive comprehensive classroom training, health verification, criminal record history checks, and are fully insured.

Lifeline

North Country Home Service’s Lifeline (personal emergency response system) offers peace of mind, independence and quality of life to at risk clients so that they may remain in their homes safely. A simple press of a portable HELP button summons HELP within seconds, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. North Country Home Service’s Lifeline offers security and independence to the client, and peace of mind and reassurance to the family/caregiver.

In an emergency, one touch of your portable HELP button will bring assistance within seconds from our site based, highly trained monitors in our Saranac Lake office. Help is always at your finger tips, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Units are usually installed within 24 hours.

North Country Home Services offers Companion services to assist clients with day to day tasks : Shopping, Doctors Appointments, Pet Care, Light House Keeping and Cooking.

Accepting Pets in Clients' Homes

North Country Home Services, Inc. is offering a courtesy service entitled "Accepting Pets in Clients' Homes" presented by Sharon Bishop Administrative Assistant

Accepting Pets in Clients' Homes
It has been proven that pets in clients’ homes have a therapeutic effect on their well being. Sharon demonstrates with her own dogs how to approach pets while in the clients’ homes.

This program has been presented as an inservice to all North Country Home Services Home Health Aides. This program is now offered to other agencies as a courtesy from North Country Home Services.

Sharon has been teaching dog training classes and doing private lessons for the past 15 years. She also competes in dog obedience and dog agility with her border collies.

 

Answering Service For Health Related Agencies

North Country Home Service’s professional answering service is geared towards Health Related Agencies. All of your information is kept confidential and our staff is HIPAA compliant . We will monitor calls 24 hours a day, holidays & weekends, with personalized attention to include faxing and paging.
