About Us

OUR HISTORY
North Country Home Services, Inc. (NCHS) is a private not-for-profit corporation that is mission driven. Beginning in the late 1960's as a registry of Home Care Aides, North Country Home Services was formally incorporated as a business in 1982.
In 1986 after meeting all the requirements and regulations for licensure, NYS DOH approved NCHS as a fully Licensed Home Care Service Agency (LHCSA).
NCHS was founded in Franklin County and over the following decade was asked to expand to provide home health care services in Essex and Clinton Counties. We are now also serving parts of Warren and St. Lawrence Counties.
