As a consumer of the CDPAP you will control the process by identifying your needs, recruiting, hiring, and training your own personal care assistants. Personal assistance services include but are not limited to assisting the consumer with bathing, dressing, toileting, and other related personal functions, performing household chores and other activities such as nursing, transportation, and respite services that assist the Consumer to be as functional as possible within the limits of their abilities.
